You are able to cut your cord to the length you need!

Simply unplug the two wires from your unit. Press down the small lever next to each pinhole to release the wire, then gently pull the wire out. Cut your cord to your desired length then strip the two wires. To reinstall, simply insert the wire back into the pinhole and release the lever—it will lock automatically. The connector is not polarity-sensitive, so the two wires can be inserted in either position.

INSTALLATION MADE SIMPLE

1. CONNECT TO WIFI

Follow the provided instructions to connect to your WiFi and designate phone numbers or email addresses for notifications. Don't have WiFi that reaches your well? No problem! You’ve got two options: use a WiFi extender, or choose a longer monitor and trench the line underground a couple inches to a spot close enough to pick up signal—or mount it right by the house. Units are available up to 1,000 ft!

2. FIND YOUR ALERT DEPTH

Find your depth at which you'd like to be notified at. If you would like to be notified when your well is empty, find the depth at which your pump runs out of water. If you have a basement mounted well pump, find your lowest point at the suction pipe. If you do not know these numbers, a well contractor could come and take a look at your well. TIP: If you'd like to use the notification as a "heads-up", plan to hang the sensor a couple feet above the empty point. This is an ideal scenario if you want a notification to haul water or even just be aware you're well is low so you can start rationing at that point.

3. MEASURE AND MARK THE CORD

Run the length of cord out on the ground that you would like for the sensor to hang in the well. If the cord is not as malleable as you'd like, you can let it set in the sun for a little bit.

4. LOWER THE SENSOR

Drop it in your well until it reaches your predetermined mark on the cord.

5. RECONNECT AND SECURE

Disconnect the wires from the unit, run wire through your wellcap and reattach wires to the unit. Drill a hole in your well cap if needed.

6. MOUNT THE UNIT

Give yourself some slack outside of the well if you'd like to adjust depth higher or lower later. Mount the unit however you would like on your well.

Burned up a well pump last month. I have a basement mounted pump. Cost me over $1,000. There wasn’t much on the market for monitors to save that from happening. I tried this and it’s already saved me one. Paid for itself in literally like two weeks. We haven’t been getting and rain and my well is dry as a bone. This works good, highly recommend it.
